Slabs
Whilst 'Slabs' are not as efficient to transport and store as rolls, they are slightly stiffer enabling easy 'friction-fitting' in some applications.
The special characteristics of glasswool slabsf enable higher packaged compression (compared to stonewool slabs) with guaranteed 'bouce back' to the required thickness when installed. The fibres of stonewool are easy to damage meaning that the product generally cannot be compressed.
Up to 3 times as much glasswool can fit in the same size of package of stonewool reducing the time to move product.
